Classic car trade fairs: "hear, see and feel"
2020 it is! We wish you all a happy new year. For Bumperworld, the start of the new year also means that we will visit a number of classic car trade fairs. There are several exciting events nearby and abroad! Which classic car trade fairs do we recommend? What makes such an event worth visiting?
Hear, see and feel
For us, but also for our customers, the most important thing about a fair is: hearing, seeing and feeling. It is very important for us to meet people, talk to each other and to stay up to date with the newest developments. Specifically for our customers, it is nice to be able to see the chrome shine and finish of the polished stainless steel bumpers in real life. The personal contact with other enthusiasts is fun and valuable for us. There is always something new to learn at a classic car trade fair and there are always special encounters. For example with the Zapp family who travel the world for almost 20 years (!) In their 1928 Graham-Paige. You can read about their adventures Here

Besides the fact that we offer an extensive range of stainless steel bumpers and sell them both online and offline, we are above all classic car enthusiasts. It is a wonderful hobby. We are happy to help people with the problems they encounter during the restauration of a classic car. We are willing to share the knowledge we have gained over the years.
Which fairs should definitely be on the agenda? We would pick these four:
JANUARY - Maastricht (Netherlands) – Interclassics Maastricht
For Bumperworld the classic start of the new year. A nice, well-organized event with 4 halls of classic car fun. The fair always has a special theme. A home game for us, in Limburg (the southernmost of the 12 provinces of the Netherlands). What is striking about Interclassics Maastricht is the great diversity of car brands. It is the largest classic car trade fair by Dutch standards.
FEBRUARY/MARCH - Stuttgart (Germany) – Retro Classics
Despite the fact that this is the “largest” classic car trade fair in Europe, it feels very accessible. The event is spacious and it is easy to find your way between all this beauty. Close to the home of Porsche, this brand will certainly be present in Stuttgart!
MARCH - Essen (Germany) – Techno Classica
Huge. There is a lot to see at Techno Classica. It is actually best to book a hotel room, because Techno Classica is so large that all cannot be seen in one day. A classic car trade fair not to be missed. Parts, tools, the most special cars… absolutely everything is represented in Essen. It is a very international event with visitors and exhibitors from all over the world. By the way, do not forget to eat the "currywurst mit pommes"!
NOVEMBER - Brussel (Belgium) – Interclassics Brussel
Interclassics Brussels always offers a very varied range of cars, often with a little more focus on Italian and French cars. Brussels is different from the other classic car trade fairs. It is a beautiful, chic fair with a pleasant atmosphere. Here you can feel the French influences and Belgian traditions. Highly recommended.
We hope to see you at one of the classic car trade Fairs!
